CREATIVE SOLUTIONS

There are three kinds of creativity. The first one is art, which, everyone knows, has had a tremendous influence on mankind. The second one is creative marketing, where entrepreneurs like John D. Rockefeller looked out at the world and saw that whale oil, which was becoming scarce from its use as fuel in lanterns all over the world, was getting expensive. He saw that the new discovery of black crude oil could be marketed and bring cheap fuel to people all over the world to light their lanterns, and he set out and did it.

The third kind of creativity is creative solutions. Creative solutions are attained by focusing on the friction in the world, the suffering. You can spend your life learning useless and irrelevant knowledge. When you engage your heart, with its inherent ability to see what’s right, you see what’s wrong in the world. Through the integration of the brain (and its creativity) and the heart (and its ability to see what’s right), you come up with creative solutions.
